GAIA 6B
Six billion artificial suns. One living planet.
Geodesic Atmospheric Infrastructure & Augmentation: a long-term vision for six billion 1 GW fusion stations, distributed AI, and a planet-wide system for energy, heat, water, and life.
K / A planetary integration program
Build the power.
Close the heat budget.
Fusion stations, AI data centers, rat net, and Skyway form one hierarchical planetary network. The ambition is greater habitability, healthy lifespan, and biological possibility.
Dewcell investigates the modular source and water/feedstock loop. Earth Radiator governs the destination of its heat. Every new node needs both an energy ledger and an achievable heat-export allocation.

Change the scale. Inspect the consequences.
All calculations run locally and update from the same inputs. Deterministic model v1: no random seed is needed. Export records inputs, constants, equations version, and results.
GAIA 6B is a target-scale stress test, not a deployment forecast.

1 bar = 100 kPa. The target here is exactly 2 bar = 200 kPa; 202.65 kPa is 2 standard atmospheres. The supplied brief used both conventions. Mean sea-level pressure applied uniformly is a screening approximation, not a terrain-resolved atmospheric mass estimate.
03 / The thermal partnership
One source. A cascade of uses. A final exit.
Dewcell
Investigate atmospheric water collection, feedstock preparation, and replication of an independently validated fusion cell. Recover suitable-temperature station heat for water treatment and feed preparation. Condensation releases latent heat; it is not free cooling.
Skyway + useful heat
Co-locate insulated thermal trunks with transport corridors. Cascade high-grade heat through power conversion, process loads, and lower-temperature uses; meter pumping, leakage, heat-pump work, and storage separately.
Earth Radiator
Allocate measured net export to space before admitting another station’s continuous heat load. Study distributed night-side outlets and orbital options. Evaporation moves heat; condensation returns it. Neither substitutes for net export.
The deployment rule: scale stations only as verified heat-rejection capacity grows. A better recovery fraction improves utility, but does not erase the steady-state heat burden.
04 / Planetary architecture
Local autonomy. Regional coordination. Planetary accounting.
A hierarchy of geodesic cells
Subdivide an icosahedron to organize station clusters and regional services. Adapt real density to oceans, terrain, ecological exclusions, access, and demand. The 6B target implies about 0.085 km² per node and a 292 m square-area scale; it is not an exact geodesic nearest-neighbor distance or a land-only allocation.
Every conceptual station includes fusion, conversion, storage, an AI data center, sensing, maintenance robotics, and local fail-safe controls. Evaluate D–T, D–D, and advanced aneutronic approaches alongside the separately labeled LSM/Dewcell hypothesis.
Connect the portfolio
- rat net — terrestrial telemetry and communication.
- Skyway — movement, maintenance access, thermal corridors.
- Earth-Data-Ring — proposed airborne power and information layer.
- Katzenblitz / Gyroencabulator — storage and electromechanical research.
- LSM public foundations — theoretical context; detailed fusion studies retain staff access.
AI coordinates forecasts, dispatch, and maintenance within permissions checked against independent physical measurements. Local protection must remain functional during network failure.
05 / Life in the loop
Habitability is the outcome to test.
Atmosphere & fire resilience
The 2 bar objective is a hypothesis, not an established health benefit. Model oxygen partial pressure, gas density, respiratory effects, pressure broadening, water vapor, climate feedback, and ignition separately. Preserving oxygen partial pressure does not by itself preserve combustion behavior.
Study high-moisture, low-volatility vegetation, protective bark, ecological firebreaks, lightning monitoring, and rapid robotic response. “Fire-resistant” is a measurable goal; completely fireproof forests are not assumed.
Electrolysis produces oxygen and hydrogen, not nitrogen. The buffer-gas supply needs a separate geological, industrial, or off-world mass ledger. Hydrogen must have an explicit captured-storage, export, or other disposition pathway; immediate escape is not assumed.
Longevity & voluntary augmentation
Continuum — Resonant Rejuvenation supplies the exploratory rejuvenation workstream, including the proposed whole-body magnetic-resonance chamber inside a Maxwell sphere. Age reversal through this mechanism remains unvalidated.
Compare controlled biomarkers, function, and long-term outcomes. Study senescence, regeneration, oxidative damage, artificial organ support, wearable sensing, and human–machine interfaces. Additional oxygen does not establish longer life.
A 1 GW station is infrastructure, not a practical implant. Augmentation remains voluntary. Explore demographic consequences in the Human Society Simulator.
Ecological restoration & dinosaur-like organisms
Investigate comparative genomics, developmental biology, avian ancestry, large-animal biomechanics, and controlled habitats. Distinguish restoration of an extinct genome from engineering a new organism with ancestral traits. No recoverable non-avian dinosaur genome is assumed. The “dinosaur habitat” preset changes environmental inputs only; it predicts neither a viable organism nor a welfare outcome. The deep-time preset is a hypothetical atmosphere, not a reconstruction of a dated geological period.
06 / Phased deployment
Earn the next scale.
- Close one ledger. Specify reaction and products, gross versus net power, fuel/isotope rates, neutron flux, shielding, component life, water, and uncertainty. Validate one thermal loop independently of fusion.
- Demonstrate one node. Reproduce net power and heat export with calibrated instruments, maintenance downtime, and a complete bill of materials. No station is represented as built.
- Connect a regional cluster. Validate rat net telemetry, AI failure isolation, Skyway thermal transport, shared heat allocations, and ecological response.
- Grow within resource limits. Compare exponential, logistic, and material-constrained replication. Include mining, factories, capital, workforce, recycling, and off-world industrial options.
- Test environmental interventions locally. Use contained, reversible studies before considering global changes. Evaluate life and habitat outcomes independently of the energy program.

Energy and radiator accounting
Pₑ = N · Pnode; Pthermal = Pₑ / η; Qconversion = Pthermal − Pₑ
Qrecovered = f · Qconversion; Qeventual = Pthermal
qexport = εσ(T⁴ − 3⁴) · effective escape fraction
Arequired = Qeventual / qexport; Qresidual = max(0, Qeventual − Aavailable · qexport)
σ = 5.670374419 × 10⁻⁸ W m⁻² K⁻⁴. All outputs use watts internally. Steady state assumes terrestrial dissipation of all generated electrical energy and no permanent storage or off-world energy use. Reserved cooling electricity is taken from the displayed electrical output, not added again to heat. Extra externally supplied power would require an additional entry.
The radiator is an idealized deep-space-equivalent screen. At-ground radiation, convection, spectral transmission, absorbed solar/terrestrial radiation, thermal transport, heat-pump temperature lift, mass flow, materials, and radiator self-view require explicit engineering. Increasing a temperature control does not establish that the heat can reach it. Vary the efficiency, emitting temperature, and escape fraction to inspect sensitivity; no statistical confidence range is asserted.
Atmospheric mass, composition, and water splitting
AEarth = 4πR²; M = P · AEarth / g; pO₂ = xO₂ · P
M̄ = xO₂MO₂ + (1 − xO₂)MN₂; ρ = P M̄ / (Rgas T); H = Rgas T / (M̄ g)
mO₂ = M · xO₂MO₂ / M̄; mN₂ = M · (1 − xO₂)MN₂ / M̄
mH₂ ≈ max(0, ΔmO₂) / 8; mwater ≈ 9 mH₂; E = mH₂ · specific electricity
Earth radius 6,371 km; g = 9.80665 m/s²; baseline 101,325 Pa with 20.95 mol% O₂, nitrogen surrogate remainder. Uniform temperature and a well-mixed two-gas composition are approximations. Gas mass fractions differ from mole fractions. Fixed pO₂ does not imply fixed oxygen inventory when mean molar mass changes.
The approximate 8:1 oxygen/hydrogen mass ratio uses rounded stoichiometry. Reversible water splitting near 25 °C requires about 32.7 kWh/kg H₂ of electricity with heat supplied; thermoneutral input is about 39.4 kWh/kg. Neither is a real-system consumption guarantee. Recombining hydrogen with the new oxygen reverses the atmospheric inventory gain. Production time holds power constant and excludes construction and supply constraints.
Validation and falsification register
| Hypothesis | Test and decisive result | Current boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Replicable net-power fusion node | Calorimetry, complete external inputs, reaction products, independent replication. Failure to exceed uncertainty or close product accounting rejects the tested mechanism. | No node demonstrated here; LSM hypotheses separate from validated nuclear physics. |
| Scalable net heat export | Meter thermal transport and actual outward flux including parasitics. If export cannot match continuous input, reject that deployment scale. | Stefan–Boltzmann screening only; no engineered radiator credited as real. |
| Beneficial 2 bar environment | Contained comparative physiology, fire, and ecology studies. Adverse outcomes or absent reproducible benefit reject the proposed operating envelope. | No health, fire-safety, or climate forecast. |
| Longevity and rejuvenation | Controlled functional and biomarker endpoints, genomic integrity, and long-term outcomes; independent reproducibility. | No years-of-life output or demonstrated chamber mechanism. |
| Restored ecosystems | Viable organisms, habitat compatibility, welfare, and containment evidence. | No dinosaur reconstruction or release represented. |
Implemented now: geodesic visualization, capacity and heat ledger, atmospheric mass/composition, electrolysis screen, presets, and scenario export.
